FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Q?

Do we get keys for the toilet blocks?

A.

No, we use a code for the toilet blocks which you will receive on arrival.

Q?

What is there for children to do in the area?

A.

There are lots of play parks nearby with football pitches. The sandy beach and rockpools and caves make a great day out for children. Rosemarkie also has a volley ball and tennis court for free use. See the attractions section for more ideas. (Please note, as there is a small public road running through our campsite, a play area on-site is not appropriate and we do not allow ball games for the safety of other campers’ vehicles, kindly supervise respectfully).

Q?

Do I need to book?

A.

We recommend booking, especially if you are staying in the high season. A non-refundable deposit of the first nights payment is required to secure your booking.

Q?

Are the toilet blocks heated?

A.

Our shower shack is heated for those chillier mornings and we are considering the most effective heat source to install for the toilet blocks.

Q?

Are dogs allowed on the campsite local pubs/on the beaches?

A.

All well behaved dogs are welcome to stay on the campsite. There are lots of great places to walk them from the campsite. Owners please keep your dogs under control at all times and pick up after them. Free poo bags are available. All the local beaches allow dogs but please keep on the lead on Rosemarkie Beach near the beach cafe. All local pubs welcome dogs in their public bars.
