Local Attractions

Rosemarkie has a beautiful sandy beach, rockpools and caves and the Black Isle is known for its varied wildlife. Dolphins, whales, seals and porpoises frequent Chanonry Point but also sea birds, birds of prey, deer, otters and pine martins live on the Isle.

Fortrose has a picturesque 19th century harbour and 13th century ruined cathedral. There are plenty of local attractions including children's play areas, pubs and restaurants we can recommend. On your arrival we will give you a tourist map and information on local events, as well as advice on the best dolphin viewing times and local walks.
